By serving!
He practiced what He preached
He was a loyal follower of God
He thought about others
He served
He protected
He loved
He cared
He guided
He comforted
He taught
He was patient
He listened
He did not need to demand but rather commanded
He did not need to pull rank but rather operated from humility
He didn’t need the corner office but rather desired to be with the people at the lowest level.
He did this even when he was defied, cheated, taken advantage of, persecuted, chastised, ridiculed, mocked, gossiped about, hated, despised, lied to, undermined or hurt.
Servant leadership transforms hearts. Stay the course and your followers will be captivated by your grace. Who do you want to follow?
